I am Japanese, so of caurse I always speak Japanese with other people. Therefore I will write about how to learn English. I have been learning English from when I was a freshman of junior high school, for eight years by various ways of studying. I want to introduce you main 4 ways.

First of all, I study English in class. When I belonged junior high school, I took the English class three times in a week. I learned mainly grammar in those classes. Only the rudiment of  first term, I studyed alphabets,from A to Z, how to write and read them. After that I learned its grammar and conversation on the paper. I entered high school, I had to take the English class everyday. The Oral Communication course was included in those classes in those days. The class was I should speak with my ALT or class mate of mine in English. Sometimes I took three lessons in a day. It was very hard for me. I became a university student at Kumamoto Gakuen. I have been taking 4 English classes which are Writing, Speaking, Reading and Grammar, however I took Grammar class last year. Through I take those classes and application to my study English in classes, I can concern with English everyday.

Second, I always listen western music while I go to my university, stay my room or doing housework. For example I usually listen Backstreet Boys, James Blunt, Daniel Powter, Eric Clapton, Justin Bieber and Orianthi. First time, I listen the song without look its lyrics, and then I guess what the artist sing in it. Second, I listen it reading its lyrics and check what they sing in English, and finally, I look up the words, which I could not understand the meaning, in a dictionary. And then I sing the song memorizing it. I remembered a lot of expressions and collocations couse of that. This way is not torture for me to study English. The way is the best.

Third, what I just write, read and listen some words. This is it. The only way to learn words is by repetition. It is the most painful way for me to learn English as I fell sleep and boring soon. But once I memorized those words, I do not forget them easily. Before high school and university enter examination, I did it.  

Last one is what I watch some movies in English. When I watch the movie first, I watch it only image without English or Japanese subtitle. Next, I superimpose English one. Of course the soround is not Japanese at the time. Finally, I change English subtitle to Japanese one. After that I copy some words which I could not understand in the movie to my note, and I look up the words.

Those are my ways of English learning. I especially like second and last ways as them makes me so be exciting. I think that there are other various ways how to learning English. But they are my best ways at this moment. Therefore please tell me other means that are better than my ways.

Essay 1-03a: Thematic movie reviews of Mrs. Doubtfire

  I watched "Mrs. Doubtfire" as a writing class, and I thought about two things. These are "Father's love for children" and "Relationship husband and wife".
  The man of main character worked as dubber, and his name is Daniel Hillard. He has a wife and three children, two daughters,Lydia, and Chris, and a son, Natalie. But Daniel is so idler, and he gave up his job again and again. Therefore his wife, Miranda, has earned to household economy. But she got mad at him for mess  inside of their house, and it set up divorce. He was  said that he can meet his children once a week by a judiciary.
  He is a useless as a husband. But his love for his children is very deep , so he can not put up with what he can not meet anytime. He found his new job, and clean his room to allow meeting his children long time. But he could not wait next their justice. It is pain for him to live away from his children. ...and at least, he took action that is unbelievable.
  Miranda has wanted to employ a housekeeper, so she advertised on newspaper. Daniel called her in order to be adopted. Of course he changed his voice and how to talk when he called.His job, dubber, helped him. And he was employed. He commuted every evening after he was disguised by his brother. His aim achieved, and he took care of them. As he love his children, he brought up to be good boy and girls. Then again, he changed himself for nice direction. For example, he could cook, clean and so on. He loves them very much, so he could change.
  Daniel and Miranda had good relationship, but it was changed by long time. He loves her, but she was not able to love him. She definitely hates him. She just tired married life with him. They did not become reconciled again. All of couples are not in good with each other. Divorcing is good way for them.
  I thought that even if the father and mother love their child, all couple are not able to have good relationship. Sometime, divorcing is nice choice than staying with. The movie told that family has a lot of types to me. And I feel that parents love even if they hate each other. But personally I wanted to back together.    (401 words)

About my Keitai

I use one cell phone which I contracted with Docomo for now. It is second, and I use it for two years. It is slide type, and colors are white and dark brown. I love it very much, so I do not want to change it to smart phone or i phone. I usually use it for send e-mail, call, look mixi or facebook. I think cell phone is useful for us because we can make communication with someone are far place, and can take some pictures, can know that what time is it. We can do everything, we only have it.

My favorite movies

  I have two movies I like. One of them is "Harry potter" series. The series are composed of seven volumes. I like these books, so I like the movies too. I had seen the movies one to six volume. It has already showed the half of 7th volume, but I did not go to theater to watch it because if I watch that, I absolutely forget what happens in the movie. Therefore I am not going to watch it, when the second volume of 7th. Other movie is MAMMAMIA! It is musical movie and ABBA's songs are used. The stage of the movie is a small island, and there are a mother and daughter there. The daughter invited three men who they are probable that they are her father for her wedding ceremony, and she want to try finding her true father... I do not like musical, but I like it! It makes me fun.

Using the computer

 I do not like using computer because it makes me confuse, I cannot type without do not look screen, and I usually have a bad headache when I use it. But I have a lot of home works which I must use computer since I was to be sophomore. Therefore doing home works is torture for me, but I should do. And today, global is information society, so I must learn how to use computer. I have come to fell enjoying what use computer, but it is while I watch youtube. I want to practice so that I can use it long time.

Foregn countreis

 I like foreign countries very much, especially Canada because there is first place I went to foreign country. There are a vast land, rich nature, big Rocky mountain, beautiful town, people are being very kind to me and so on. Canada has a lot of different points from Japan. For example, the roads are straight when I will go anywhere, we should keep to the right, I should pay chip for waiter, waitress, driver and so on. I could fell other culture there. When I went to Canada, I only visit to Vancouver. I could not other place or prefectures, so when I go there again, I want to visit.

Essay 1-02a: My life in KGU

  Hi, everyone! I am a sophomore of the English department. So I will introduce three things in my life of my university to you. Please refer to my life!!

  First of all is taking classes. Every start of spring term, you can plan for schedule of classes, and you take classes as you planed. For example, you have some compulsory subjects and you can choice another classes you want to take. In my case, I have 4 compulsory subjects and 21 courses I want to take. If you do not take these in the morning, maybe you can do. But it is not good for you because it makes you lazy. Therefore I recommend you to plan carefully. But it is interesting for me to decide class because I can be ready and willing.
  The second, belonging to club. In my university, almost all of the students, include me, join in one or more clubs. In my opinion, you should belong to it because you can make some friends who are not same department, and you can learn the human relationships which are different from until high school one. For example, there are not hard relationships between junior and senior. There is only good one! You might need any courage, but join it, and you are going to catch a lot of irreplaceable things. I did so.

  Finally, you must find least one thing which you can be stuck on. Of course it is excepted play and romp. I found something which I want to do. It is study of Air line and flight attendant. So, I lean it to be flight attendant in the future. I think it is wonderful for you to have a dream and try it again and again. If you can find it, you lead a full school life.
