about Masaharu Fukuyama

Do you know Masaharu Fukuyama? I guess that all of Japanese have heard his name once at least because he is very famous in Japan. But nowadays, he is also known over the sea, especially in Asia.

He is 42 years old (January. 10. 2012) and single. He is not only a singer-songwriter but also actor, photographer, guitarist and radio personality.

He was born as a second son in Nagasaki in Kyusyu in 1969. He graduated Nagasaki Prefectural Nagasaki Technical High School. After that he got job, but he did not give up his dream which is becoming a singer. Therefore he leaved his job, and came up to Tokyo when he was 18 years old.

He passed Amuse company's auditioned and was accepted for the show, taking her first steps as a actor. His first works was "Honno-5g" and he came to the front, but he disliked that.

In 1994, 『It's only love』 hit the number one spot on pop charts in Japan. And then he became known as a singer and songwriter. Few years later,2000, sales of 『Sakurazaka』 have increased constantly and has became the first million-seller of his. It arranged tie ups with Television program of TBS.

In 2007, He appeared 『Galileo』 is a Japanese television drama based on『 Detective Galileo』 a novel by the famous mystery writer Keigo Higashino. It narrates the events and cases encountered by Kaoru Utsumi, a rookie detective, and Manabu Yukawa, a university associate professor, while the two pair up to solve many mysterious cases. 


Next year, 『YougisyaXnokenshin』(Suspect X)  is a 2008 Japanese mystery-thriller film based on the novel of the same name, directed by Hiroshi Nishitani. The film was a continuation of the popular Japanese serial drama Galileo and included the same cast. It topped Japan's box office for four consecutive weeks and was the third-highest grossing Japanese movie in 2008. The soundtrack was released on October 1, 2008. He made songs and wrote poem for the drama and film, and he sang them with Kou Shabasaki. The name of them 『KOH⁺』. 


Fukuyama Masaharu played the main character, Sakamoto Ryoma in Ryoma-den. The drama was not normal, because it was Taiga-drama. 『Ryomaden』 is the 49th NHK Taiga drama. It was shown on NHK from January 3 to November 28, 2010 spanning 48 episodes. The story centers on the life of 19th century Japanese historical figures Iwasaki Yataro and Sakamoto Ryoma. It has been announced that the series will be aired in several other countries, for example Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand. 


Therefore he gain popularity with all of the world and all of generation.

My favorite dessert

My favorite dessert is ice cream! Even if it is cold, hot, winter or summer, I do not care. I eat the ice cream nearly every day at home or out. My favorite ice cream companies are Baskin Rrobbins(is called thirty-one in Japan) and Häagen-Dazs. These companies created various very delicious ice creams. I especially love Salt & Butter Cookie which sold by Häagen-Dazs. So when I go its shop in Shimotori with my friends on seven flavor day, I order it absolutely. I did when I went there to eat seven flavors with overseas students that are Korean and have come to Kumamoto University. I also like 31's, so my parents often order ice cake when I turn my birthday. I was given caramel ribbon ice cake last time. Its taste was so sweet and excellent. I want to order strawberry one next my birthday!

My favorite TV show

My favorite TV show is "Galileo" which was showed as a Getsu-ku (it mean that the program  begin to broadcast at 9 o'clock on Mondays) by Fuji television four years ago. There are two main characters, one of them is Mr. Manabu Yukawa who is professor of physics and very intelligent. Therefore he can solve various difficult mysterious phenomenon cases easily, and the other person is Mrs. Kaoru Utsumi who is fresh operative and she always depends on his cooperation. This story was written by Keigo Higashino was dramatized for television. The best interesting point I thought is their tricks. Mr. Higashino was once a professional physics, so they were real, and very complex one, and different every time. The second point is casting because it was gorgeous and very fit for each role. Those are why I like it

my favorite music

I can't decide the best music I usually listen because I always listen the songs that I favorite. I do not choose them by its artist or popular songs. I select them from tunes which My parents and friends of mine recommend instead. Therefore I like "Help" that is THE BEATLES's song, "Change the world" that is Eric Clapton's, "Don't Know Why" is Norah Jones's and so on. But I have favorite some singers. For example they are THE BEATLES, Eric Clapton, James Blunt, Justin Beiber and Masaharu Fukuyama. I like especially Masaharu.F's songs. I am a big his fan for 11 years, and member of his fan club "Bros.". When I was elementary school student, I watched and hear his big hit song "Sakurazaka", and I became a fan. Therefore I have loved the tune, but not only I have loved it but also other songs. So I can't decide number one.

My favorite season is... maybe it is the spring. I think another seasons are also very nice, and also love them. As the seasons go, they change, different types, different colors, different locations, so it has this incredible element of excitement that goes along with them. but I especially like the spring, I do not why. However I believe that, maybe; this is the season when the cherry trees blossom, meeting with people who I do not know yet and it is getting warmer and warmer. To I like going out to see the cherry blossoms at place where they grows in. But I am not very happy with what a huge number of insect, worm and bug hatch at the time. My birthday is in the spring, all things considered. I can turn birthday, and I am given the presents from parents, sister and friends of mine.

My favorite place I have been

My favorite place where I have been is Vancouver in Canada. I went there to do home-stay and commute to Vancouver English Centre where is Language school in center of downtown during last summer vacation. There were a great number of shops in downtown, so I could buy anythings I want there. And it was very beautiful and artistic city because the winter Olympic 2010 was held there, so there were a lot of art works that were carvings, pictures, object what I did not know well and so on along every main streets, and they were very interesting and beautiful. Of course as downtown was well maintained by Canadian government, so anywhere I visited at the time were greatly clean and safety. Those are the reasons why I love Vancouver. Therefore I want you to visit to Vancouver someday.

My favorite TV/movie star

My favorite TV/movie stars are Alan Rickman and Emma Watson. Do you know them? They are famous English actors, and appeared in all of the Harry Potter  series. Alan turned 65 years old this year, but he can play  a variety of roles. For example he has played a nobleman, an angel, a Nobel laureate, an alien, wizard and many others. He got the awards again and again. Therefore he is always in the Top 10 of favorite actors in the world. His first job was graphic designer, but He was interested in the theater. Therefore he changed his career. His first movie is DIE HARDⅠ, and he appeared as a heel. Emma had not been famous up to her appearance in the Harry Potter series as Hermione Granger( one of main characters). But now, she has become a very famous and poplar actress in the world by these movies. She also is fashion leader in the world until now. Her father is British, and her mother is half blood between French and British. So she is  She is greatly brilliant person like Hermione. She passed University of Yale, Columbia, Cambridge and Brown and then commuted to Brown University.

My favorite candy

My favorite candy is Tirol choco. Do you know it? It have been selling by Tirol company, and   　is one of familiar candy in Japan. It is name of chocolate, and has a good number of kinds. For example there are white chocolate, strawberry, caramel, salt and so on. There are also regionally marketed tastes. And it sametime collaborates with famous characters. One of my favorite taste is WHITE AND COOKIE. It is best in Tirol choco. I always can not stop eating it. Fortunately, Tirol choco is very cheep. The way it costs 10 or 20 yen apiece! Therefore I can get them easy and many! I often buy them to eat at recess with my friends because Tirol choco is small, so it is suitable to give out them.

My favorite dish

My favorite dish is pasta! I love very much, and I guess that my meal are pasta every day, it is all right for me. I would just as soon eat pasta every day! I am especially stuck on batter and soy sauce pasta. It tastes batter and soy sauce with bacon and various vegetables. I get some vegetables like slicing shiitake and enoki mushroom, slicing potato and slicing yam into the pasta when I make it. It is very delicious and easy for me to make. I try out pasta at a lot of restaurants along Shimotori and Kamitori Street after another. In my opinion, Pronto is best. Especially, I like Carbonara there. Have you ever eaten it of Pronto? Its everything is good. For example it is ai dente, there are some cheese and an medium boiled egg. Of cause taste is so good!

My favorite drink

My favorite drink are "Umeshu" and "Kahlua and Milk"!! Umeshu is one of Japanese alcoholic drink. Ume means Japanese apricot, and it is used Ume. It tastes very flesh Ume, so I can drink it, though I hate Ume... And I love Kahlua and milk too.I prefer sweet taste alcohol to bitter one. Therefore it tastes really good for me. It tastes very sweet like cafe au late. I make it at my house because it is easy for me to make it. I just mixed Kahlua and milk. The quantity of Kahlua and milk... Do as I like. That is all. I know it does not contains low alcohol by volume. So sometimes I drink too much, but I am not a heavy drinker!

My favorite shoes are my toe shoes. When I was kindergartner, maybe sixteen years ago, I had learned classical ballet for three years or more. I have the toe shoes which I wore at the time, still now. I took to the shoes at a glance when I watched drama of Swan Lake. I thought that‘I want to wear that shoes!’So I wanted to learn ballet, and asked my parents over and over again, but actually it is real aim to wear toe shoes... I was not interested in ballet itself then, but The more I learn, the more loved I became. I was drawn into the world of ballet.  I became to be good dancer, and my teachers let me dance in the center of group when I appear in a ballet play! But three years later, I had to leave school of ballet. I want to keep dancing... I really thank for my toe shoes because it connected me to ballet! Therefore, although I can not wear them, I have them still now. My toe shoes are an unforgettable item to me.

My favorite club

My favorite club is soft tennis club at Daiichi high school. I had belonged soft tennis club when I was junior high school student, so I already decided that I will join the club of high school before I enter the high school. The club has no huge team mates, usual has around 30, so we could play enough. And we are all good friends without each grades, and I often played with my seniors. After our seniors graduated from Daiichi, I was chosen the captain of our team! I was very worry because I thought that I could not take the reins, but my team mates supported me at all times. So existence of them encouraged me. Because of team spirit, we took third place in the biggest game.

My favorite animal is cat because they usually are not attached to people, so I fell more happy and love them when they attache to me. I especially like kitten and fatty cat. They make me heal. I sometimes watch them on YouTube. They are so cute and funny. But unfortunately, I have an allergy to bristle of animal, so I cannot stay with them any time at same room. It is the a sole pity thing for me. A family doctor said to me that"Don't touch the animal such as cat and dog, or develop heavy allergy symptoms" It made me sad, but I had given up to plan to allow a close contact with cat. I want to see them close to somehow, so I practice to imitate cat's voice harder and harder. And then, they hear my bark, and they are approaching me until now.

   The title of song is “Be my valentine (Anti-crisis Girl)” It is a  song which delegate to Euro vision Song Contest as Ukraine's masterpiece on 2009. Euro vision is music contest which has been took place once a year by European Broadcasting Union (EBU) A lot of country participation in Euro vision Song Contest. For example, Russia, Belgium, France, Italy, Monaco, Luxembourg, Norway... and so on over 50 countries!
   This singer is Svetlana Loboda and she is Ukrainian. She usually sing some songs by Russian. Please listen another songs. They are so good too.
   She is so sexy and beautiful. I think that she might similar to Madonna and Lady Gaga.

How To Do

 This paragraph will tell you how to smash of soft tennis.

I traveled

     I traveled oversea for the first time in my life. I went to Vancouver which is clean city by myself this summer. 

     Vancouver is partition rectangular way wherever buildings are. The appearance looks for me neat. I felt that a lot of stores, stations and houses were tidied. 

     The Winter Olympic Game was taken place there, so some works of arts which has much to do with it were put throughout Vancouver. Every things were creative and amusing. There are a lot of people who are from different country around the world each other, so they whoever live Vancouver are very kind. For example, when I got lost my way, they called me and directed me to my goal; and besides they spoke very slowly and clearly, because I am a Japanese traveler. Some did guided me to my goal!! I thought that everyone is gentle with tourists.

     Vancouver is one of the wonderful and beautiful city, so please visit there.

What do you want to do in the next four years?

　I decided three things that if I enter at Kumamoto Gakuen University, I want to do.

　　　　Firstly, I am anxious to like studying English. I like speaking English with someone, but opposite, I dislike studying English word, grammar and reading long sentence. Therefore I want to like everything of English!! And I want to be a flight attendant of international flight. So I must study it much harder than till now.

Secondly, I want to spend long time with my family. When I was a child, we not only frequently go skiing in Kuzyu, but also go camp and take a run to Okinawa. However, we did not travel since I was a junior high school student. Because I belonged soft tennis club which practiced every day. When I was a high school student, I also practiced every day too. But I am university student now. I will be free except for homework during vacation. So I want to go away with my family!

Finally, I am eager for part time job. In addition to be interested in service industry, I want to express my deep appreciation to my parents by using my starting pay. Therefore I stick out something up until last!!!!!

Hopkin Riborns!

 I went to Daiei again because I promised to eat 31 ice cream with my friends who are Rie and Natsumi.
 After school, we gathered at Daiei, and went to 31. We ordered challenge the triple! My ice cream were Rocky road, Easter party and Berry berry strawberry!!!!!! It was so cool day, so we felt very cold. But I was happy as it was sooo delicious＾　＾.
I want to go there to eat them again!


Now I remember,..... I thought that 31's formal name is Hopkin Riborns, but its really name is Baskin Robins!  Did you know????
